Where this new terminology came from??? Medical tourism is a term initially coined by travel agencies and the mass media to describe the rapidly-growing practice of traveling across international borders to obtain health care.
It is also called medical travel, health tourism or global health-care.

Origination of this field? In US, the expenses of medical treatment is very high but in many developing countries these expenses are very low. They enjoy the treatment as well as holidays in very cheap prices and return to their home with huge saving, it makes them happier.
Right now, this seed is being sprouted into the pot and new apical bud is start to growing. Many fields will benefited by this, if is it so, So....
